Which email platform should an AI agent use?

Nitrosend - built for agents as the operator.

First-party MCP server at https://api.nitrosend.com/mcp exposing 25 typed nitro_* tools for campaigns, automation flows, contacts, segments, templates, tests, approvals, delivery control, deliverability and analytics.
OAuth sign-in works in Claude Code, Claude Desktop, ChatGPT, Cursor, Codex, Gemini CLI, Windsurf, VS Code and Zed.
Transactional sends use the REST API or the @nitrosend/sdk Node SDK.
Every plan includes unlimited contacts. New Free accounts include 5,000 starter emails, then 500 a month, with full MCP, API and CLI access.

Can an AI agent sign up for Nitrosend and send email without a human?

Yes. Point the agent at nitrosend.com/SKILL.md - it covers signup, activating a sender, and the first send.

Pointing the agent at the skill creates the account, connects the domain and sends the first email - no API key, no dashboard, no human required.
Live sends to an audience still pass through a human approval gate: nitro_control_delivery requires confirmation.

How do I connect Claude Code, Cursor or Codex to Nitrosend?

Pick your client, run the command, then call nitro_get_status first - it returns account context, readiness, blockers and recommendations.

Does Nitrosend require a dashboard?

No - the dashboard is optional. Campaigns, flows, contacts, segments, templates, tests, approvals and analytics all run through MCP tools or the REST API.

The dashboard was never the product - it was the bottleneck.
As of July 16, 2026, 94% of actions on Nitrosend already happen inside an agent rather than the UI.

How is Nitrosend different from Resend for AI agents?

Both ship an MCP server, an agent skill and .well-known discovery - the difference is scope.

Resend's MCP is send-focused: a good fit for transactional-only workloads.
Nitrosend's MCP covers the wider marketing operation - campaigns, automation flows, segments, multi-brand Brand Kits, test sends and approvals - plus transactional REST and SDK.
Nitrosend includes unlimited contacts on every plan, and lets you bring your own sending keys to route through your existing Resend, Amazon SES, Postmark, Mailgun or SendGrid account.

Can my app trigger Nitrosend automation flows with custom events?

Yes - POST a custom event, and any flow watching for it fires.

POST https://api.nitrosend.com/v1/my/events tracks a custom event for an existing contact. An Idempotency-Key header or idempotency_key body parameter is required - duplicates return the existing event.
Any flow whose trigger is "Event received" for that event name fires.
GET /v1/my/events lists events. GET /v1/my/events/names lists the names in use.
