Unlimited contacts, agent-native, campaigns and transactional, one published price.
Selzy is a contact-priced email marketing platform. You pay for the size of your list and send as much as you like, with SMS, RCS, and Telegram chatbots on the same account, an AI assistant inside the editor, and a free plan that doesn't expire. If your list is the number that matters and you mail it hard, that model is the argument, and it's a good one. Contact pricing versus send pricing is the split that runs through most of our comparison index.
Nitrosend is an AI-native email platform and bills the mirror image: the send is metered and contacts are unlimited on every plan, including Free. Which one is cheaper is decided by whether your database is bigger than your monthly volume, not by which product is better. What we add is the operating surface. Selzy's developer route, UniOne, is a second product with its own account and its own bill. Here campaigns and transactional email are one platform, and every capability is an email API endpoint and an MCP tool before it's a screen.
Both published ladders, monthly billing, in USD, before Selzy's 30% annual discount. Selzy's price is set by contact count with sends unlimited, and ours is set by send volume with contacts unlimited, so the row that fits you is the one where your bigger number sits.
| Scenario | Selzy | |
|---|---|---|
| Free | 8,000 emails to start, then 500/mo forever. Unlimited contacts, 1 seat, full MCP, API, and CLI | 1,000 emails/mo to 100 contacts, forever, plus a 14-day trial of 10,000 emails to 2,000 contacts |
| Entry paid tier | $20 Pro: 20,000 emails, 3 seats, BYO sending and AI keys | $7.50 Lite: up to 500 contacts, sends unlimited. $15 Standard at the same size adds A/B testing, segmentation, and the quality checker |
| 10,000 contacts, ~40,000 emails/mo | $100 Ultra: 125,000 emails, 10 seats | $60 Lite or $90 Standard, sends unlimited. Cheaper than us at this shape |
| 100,000 contacts, ~200,000 emails/mo | $300 Enterprise: 500K to 4M+ emails at a published price, with SSO and SAML | $320 Lite or $460 Standard. Lite's published ladder ends at 500,000 contacts and Standard's runs to 1,000,000; above that, Enterprise is quote-only |

Selzy keeps sending while you move, and if you run SMS, RCS, or a Telegram chatbot there, those stay exactly where they are.
exportContacts, and import them with nitro_import_contacts. Selzy's additional fields and tags map onto custom fields and lists. Keep the file UTF-8, because encoding is the usual cause of a mangled first import.nitro_send_message. Watch it for a week before a campaign follows it.nitro_compose_flow. The triggers have equivalents on both sides: contact added, field changed, and event fired.Picking a tool is about fit. Here's what Selzy is genuinely good at.
Your list is the number that matters and you mail it hard, so unlimited sends against a fixed contact tier is the cheaper shape. It's the right call too when you want SMS, RCS, or a Telegram chatbot on the same account as the newsletter, when AI drafting and a spam check inside the editor at $7.50 a month are most of the requirement, or when 24/7 phone support in your own language is part of it.
Your database is much larger than your monthly send and you'd rather not pay for addresses you don't mail. The same is true when campaigns and transactional belong in one product on one bill, or when you want the platform to answer to an agent end to end, including the deliverability, billing, test, and approval steps that usually send someone back to a dashboard. If the shortlist is contact-priced platforms generally, Sender is the closest neighbour, with SendGrid and SendLayer covering the send-priced side.
For the email half, yes. Campaigns, flows, segments, templates, contacts, and transactional sending are all here on one bill, and transactional isn't a second product with a second account. Selzy keeps the channels it was built for, so a team running SMS, RCS, or a Telegram chatbot either keeps Selzy for those or splits the stack deliberately.
It depends on which number is bigger, the list or the monthly send. At 10,000 contacts mailed weekly, Selzy is cheaper: $60 on Lite or $90 on Standard against $100 for Ultra. At 100,000 contacts mailed in segments the difference runs the other way, because we bill the 200,000 sends and Selzy bills all 100,000 addresses.
Not one it publishes. Selzy has a documented REST API, free on every account type, covering contacts, campaigns, sending, statistics, templates, and webhooks, so an agent reaches it through whatever a connector exposes on top. Nitrosend was built the other way round: every capability is an endpoint and a tool before it's a screen. So an agent reaches the platform directly, not whatever a connector wraps around a REST API.
Yes, and the two free plans are shaped differently. Selzy's doesn't expire but it's small, at 1,000 emails a month to 100 contacts, with a separate 14-day trial that opens it up to 10,000 emails and 2,000 contacts. Nitrosend's Free plan starts with 8,000 emails, then settles at 500 a month with no end date, one seat, and unlimited contacts. Full MCP, API, and CLI access is included on it, so you can point an agent at the platform and watch it run a send before you pay anything.
