All five share one frame. A purple strip under the wordmark says what the email is about, a big photo of a lived-in room carries the headline in heavy capitals, and a purple-bordered plate names the one thing on offer: the item in the cart, the category of the week or the deal of the day. An AI agent wrote, designed and built every one of them in Nitrosend.1

Sent an hour after the cart is left, it shows the room first and the product second: a warm living room at night under "Right where you left it", then the exact item, its price and the purple Wayfair Verified check.

The copy takes the pressure off ("No rush from us!") and answers the real reason people leave furniture in a cart, which is not knowing if it will fit. A grey panel tells them to check the dimensions against the spot they had in mind, with a link straight back to the item. Two room tiles at the bottom keep them browsing if this one is wrong.

browse abandonment

A lighter cousin of the cart email, sent two hours after someone looked at an item and left. The headline is "Worth a second look" and the subject owns up to it: "Caught you looking!"

It shows the item they viewed and leans on one trust signal. Wayfair Verified items are hand-vetted for quality by product specialists, so a panel called "Spot the purple check" tells the reader what that check means before they decide.

Newsletter

newsletter

One room a week. This issue is all lighting, with a pun in the subject ("Watt a glow-up!") and a lamp-lit corner as the hero.

The opening sells the outcome, not the product: one floor lamp turns the corner nobody uses into "the seat everybody fights over". Then a three-across grid splits the category into floor lamps, table lamps and pendants, a panel explains the purple check, and a room of the week sends the reader somewhere new.

Cyber Monday email

Cyber Monday

DOORS BUSTED! Cyber Monday is live and so are the doorbusters

Cyber Monday

The loudest email in the set, and still on brand. "Doors busted" sits over the hero, and a deep plum panel lays out the doorbusters room by room: living room, bedroom, kitchen and dining, home office.

The copy says what is true on the day and nothing more: doorbusters dropped at midnight in limited quantities, and surprise flash deals land all day, so the best thing might arrive after you have looked. The deal names are merge fields, so the same email runs whatever the merchandising team picks.

Christmas email

Christmas

Wrap up the whole house! The gift guide, room by room

Christmas

A gift guide sorted by the person, not the product. Six tiles read for the cook, for the host, for the sleeper, for the reader, for the new place and for the one with the dog.

The idea in one line: "The gift that wins is the one they use every day." It gives Wayfair, a home store, a reason to be in a December inbox full of gadgets and perfume, and the tiles let a shopper start from someone they know instead of a category page.

What makes these emails work

  • Layout. The same frame in every email: wordmark, purple strip, full-bleed room photo with the headline, a plate that names the one thing on offer, a short deck, one pill button, then grey panels and room tiles.
  • Color. Wayfair purple for the wordmark, strip, plate border, button and Verified check, deep plum for the two dark blocks, and white and light grey for everything else.
  • Type. Rounded heavy capitals for the headline, strip, plate and button; plain sans serif for the body at a size you can read on a phone.
  • Button. One purple pill per email with a plain instruction, such as back to your cart or shop doorbusters.
  • Copy. Friendly, a little punny in the subject lines, and practical in the body: dimensions, the purple check, who the gift is for. The facts come from Wayfair's own newsroom.
  • Motion. Four of the five heroes are animated: the photo moves slowly under the headline while the type stays still.

FAQ

Which email types are on this page?

Five: an abandoned cart email, a browse abandonment email, a newsletter, a Cyber Monday email and a Christmas gift guide.

What is the difference between the cart and the browse email?

The cart email goes to someone who added an item and left, an hour later, and brings them back to that cart. The browse email goes to someone who only looked at an item, two hours later, and is softer: it reminds them, explains the Verified check and offers more of the category.

Can I make these emails for my own brand?

Yes. Copy the prompt above into an AI assistant connected to Nitrosend and give it your website. It writes, designs and builds each email in your brand in Nitrosend, then sends you a test.

How does one Cyber Monday email work for any deal?

The deal names on the plate and in the room panel are merge fields. The team fills them in on the day, and the rest of the email stays the same.

Which AI made these emails?

Claude, connected to Nitrosend over MCP. It set the brand kit, wrote the copy, placed the images and built each email as a draft flow in Nitrosend.
