The 6 best marketing agencies in Houston in 2026

A marketing agency in Houston is a firm you hire to run the work that brings a brand its customers: search, paid media, websites, content, brand, lifecycle email, and the measurement that ties them together. The six best marketing agencies in Houston are ranked below, scored out of 50 on AI automation, specialization, published evidence and a real team in the metro. Every AI claim links to its source.

VerifiedGeorge HartleyBy George Hartley, Co-founder·Updated

Marketing is expensive because most agencies still do the mechanical half by hand, and a retainer bills for those hours. "In 2026 the job changed. Agents now build the campaign, segment the audience, draft the copy, and stage the send. The marketer is the director, not the operator." That is what I rank for below. Some of the biggest Houston teams, Forthea, Adcetera and BrandExtract among them, sell AI search visibility or mention AI only in passing, which is not AI in delivery.

1. CI Web Group

The pick for an HVAC, plumbing or electrical contractor that wants its site and search run by agents, with results published after each launch.

2. EWR Digital

EWR Digital

Matthew Bertram, Chief Executive Officer, EWR Digital

Best for
SEO and AI-search visibility for regulated B2B
Location
5999 W 34th St #106B, a business-park office, with 8 staff located in the Houston metro on LinkedIn
AI stack
Four-agent SEO stack: research, clustering, on-page, monitoring
AI automation12/20
Specialization8/10
Evidence8/10
City presence7/10
Total35/50

A Houston SEO firm for B2B operators in regulated industries: oil and gas, industrial, legal and healthcare. It publishes its AI SEO agent stack: four agents for research, clustering, on-page work and monitoring, running continuously instead of in monthly batches. My view is that LLMs increased the total market for search; it is not zero sum. A firm that runs search on agents is placed for that.

For a Houston personal-injury firm, clicks rose 841%, from 90 to 847 a month, and impressions 458%. That is an SEO result; no published number is tied to the agents. It also prints its prices: most of its SEO campaigns in 2025 cost $2,500 to $7,500 a month, and consultants bill $90 to $175 an hour. The office is at 5999 W 34th St #106B, and 8 Houston staff are on LinkedIn, including CEO Matthew Bertram.

The pick for a B2B or regulated-industry firm that wants SEO run on a published agent stack at a published price.

3. Enlimited

Mohsin Ali, Enlimited3

Enlimited

Mohsin Ali, B2B Marketing Strategist & Fractional CMO, Enlimited

Best for
B2B demand generation with AI SDR agents
Location
7100 Harwin Dr, Suite C, its own suite, with 3 staff located in the Houston metro on LinkedIn; most of the team works outside Houston
AI stack
AI SDR agents, Synthesia, HeyGen
AI automation12/20
Specialization8/10
Evidence7/10
City presence6/10
Total33/50

A B2B demand-generation firm. It says agentic GTM workflows, AI SDR agents and automated pipeline operations are built into its Demand Engine from day one, and for AtomBeam's Saudi launch it sent Synthesia and HeyGen AI-avatar videos of the partner's senior leadership to Tier-1 accounts. That is outreach produced with AI, with the tools named. Its biggest published number, Worldpay's cost per click down 53% with $7.9M in pipeline after, is not credited to AI.

Most of Enlimited's team works outside Houston; it describes a team spread across three continents. Its office is 7100 Harwin Dr, Suite C, and 3 Houston staff are on LinkedIn, including founder Mohsin Ali. It fits a B2B company with a long sales cycle.

The pick for a B2B company with a long sales cycle that wants demand generation with AI SDR agents built in.

4. OuterBox

Josh Blankenship, OuterBox4

OuterBox

Josh Blankenship, Vice President of Business Development, OuterBox

Best for
Performance marketing plus custom AI agents
Location
515 Post Oak Blvd, Ste 300, the former TopSpot office, with 56 staff located in the Houston metro on LinkedIn; headquarters in Akron, Ohio
AI stack
OBxFrontier
AI automation12/20
Specialization3/10
Evidence8/10
City presence9/10
Total32/50

The pick for a mid-market or ecommerce brand that wants a large performance team in Houston that also builds custom AI agents.

5. Gravity Global

Jose Lozano, Gravity Global5

Gravity Global

Jose Lozano, CEO Gravity Global, Gravity Global

Best for
Global full-service agency with Houston leadership
Location
25 staff located in the Houston metro on LinkedIn; its Houston listing, 1201 San Jacinto Street #267, is a mailbox-style unit and not credited as an office
AI stack
Synthetic Brand GPT, Synthetic Audience GPT
AI automation10/20
Specialization4/10
Evidence9/10
City presence7/10
Total30/50

A global full-service agency that began in Houston as 9thWonder, with 25 Houston staff on LinkedIn, including CEO Jose Lozano. It sells Synthetic Brand GPT, a brand-guideline language engine, and Synthetic Audience GPT, which simulates personas for message testing, and runs automated QA checks across image, web and media outputs. Its leadership team includes Cody Sandahl, Head of AI & Development.

Those AI claims are firm-wide rather than tied to the Houston team, and no client result is tied to the AI tools. The Houston address it lists, 1201 San Jacinto Street #267, is a mailbox-style unit. The Houston team also includes Chief Innovation Officer Josh Okun. It fits a B2B, aerospace or industrial brand that wants a global agency with Houston leadership.

The pick for a B2B, aerospace or industrial brand that wants a global agency led from Houston, with in-house AI tooling.

6. BubbleUp

Mike Newman, BubbleUp6

BubbleUp

Mike Newman, Chief Revenue Officer, BubbleUp

Best for
Web, ecommerce and marketing plus custom AI agents
Location
8 staff located in the Houston metro on LinkedIn; its site says Houston but prints no street address
AI stack
OpenClaw
AI automation10/20
Specialization3/10
Evidence7/10
City presence6/10
Total26/50

A Houston digital agency for websites, ecommerce and marketing. Its AI integration service builds custom AI agents, orchestration tools and voice agents into client workflows, and names OpenClaw as the tool it uses for agent reliability and follow-through. No client result is tied to that work yet, but the direction is right. "One trend in AI is being completely agent-first in your work and connecting everything else to it."

Its case studies cover Service Corporation International, Cadence Bank and St. Luke's Episcopal Health System, web and marketing work rather than automation. The site says Houston but prints no street address, and 8 metro staff are on LinkedIn, including Chief Revenue Officer Mike Newman and VP of Marketing Operations Kaitlyn Nguyen.

The pick for a Houston brand that wants web, ecommerce, marketing and a first custom AI agent from one local shop.

Also worth knowing

These Houston firms were considered and are not ranked.

Inbound.Inc says in 2025 it integrated Codex, Claude and several other AI tools into all of its search marketing services, with audits assisted by an AI agent, and states an office at 810 S Texas 6 #201, and it links no LinkedIn company page.

Several have real Houston teams and no AI in delivery. Forthea, with 40 Houston staff on LinkedIn, sells AI search visibility (AEO and GEO) service lines, and its Mitratech AI result is a search result, not automation. Adcetera, with 40 Houston staff, lists AI consulting, AI for sales and custom AI apps as service-line copy with no workflow, tool or client result. BrandExtract, with 21 Houston staff, mentions AI only in a careers job posting that asks candidates to use AI-enabled tools. Versa Creative, with 26 Houston staff, mentions AI only as internal production software for photo and video and in GEO copy.

Others have real AI and no Houston team. GBC Digital Marketing describes AI chat-to-booking, review-request and lead-routing automation for contractors, has 1 Houston member on LinkedIn and gives a residential house, 3505 Graustark St, as its headquarters. WebFX, a Harrisburg, Pennsylvania firm with an AI agent development line, has 1 Houston member and prints a Regus center also sold as a virtual office. 514 Digital builds GoHighLevel automations and AI agents for lead management, with 1 Houston member and a coworking desk. InterCore is an El Segundo, California law-firm marketer; Houston is one of its "35 offices" and no Houston staff show on LinkedIn. Thrive, of Arlington, Texas, has 3 Houston staff and sells GEO. Fifth Ring is an Aberdeen firm that used AI-generated artwork in one Siemens campaign. Luscious Leopard is a Shopify build shop headquartered in Pune and Indore. LeadOrigin, The AD Leaf, Digital Osmos, Alliance Creative and Allegiant list Houston as a landing page or office-list entry only.

Others name AI with nothing behind it. Culture Pilot uses AI art in branding and blogs about its "first AI employee" with no client workflow. WHO Digital offers AI content writing with human editing from a mailbox-style unit. Boral Agency lists automation categories without AI detail, and Advertas markets AI products for clients rather than using AI in delivery. Bizopia, ITVibes, Beefy and ASTOUNDZ list AI services with no workflow or result. Mansfield, Kreative, CANS, Directory One and Coozmoo sell GEO only. Fleekbiz sells GEO and Strive, a Las Vegas firm, runs AI city landing pages; both print the Pennzoil Place business center. Highway 9 runs HubSpot sequences, which is not AI.

Revvnue has an "Agentic AI" homepage section and no named clients or people. AdsRole sells AI-SEO packages with no named clients, from a SnapMailbox box at a post office.

MMI Agency merged into Crispin in 2023, and TopSpot was bought by OuterBox in 2024.

Software, IT, consulting, staffing and other firms that surface in Houston marketing searches are not marketing agencies and are not assessed here.

How to choose between them

An HVAC, plumbing or electrical contractor should start with CI Web Group, the only firm here built for one trade group and running every site on agents. A B2B or regulated-industry firm buying search should look at EWR Digital, which prints both its agent stack and its prices, and a B2B company with a long sales cycle that wants outbound run by AI SDR agents has Enlimited.

A mid-market or ecommerce brand that wants the biggest in-town team, plus custom agents, has OuterBox. A B2B, aerospace or industrial brand buying global creative with Houston leadership has Gravity Global, and a local brand that wants a site, marketing and a first custom agent from one shop has BubbleUp.

I score every marketing agency here on four criteria, for a total out of 50: AI automation out of 20, and specialization, published evidence and a real Houston team, each out of 10. Each card links the sources behind its score.

Nitrosend, which I co-founded, publishes this page. It is an email platform for agencies, not a marketing agency, and is not ranked.

FAQ

CI Web Group, for a home-service contractor, because it runs every client site on its own agent platform and publishes results after each launch. EWR Digital is second and serves a wider market: SEO for B2B and regulated industries on a published four-agent stack, from a team of 8 in Houston. After that the list splits by need, with Enlimited for B2B demand generation, OuterBox for a large performance team, Gravity Global for global creative and BubbleUp for a local all-in-one shop.

The difference shows in what each one publishes. CI Web Group prints per-client results after each Hydra OS go-live. EWR Digital describes each of its four SEO agents. Enlimited walks through its AI-avatar outreach for AtomBeam. Read those three pages and you will know which one describes your problem.

Between $250 and $15,000 a month on retainer, before ad spend. Small-business SEO and website plans run $250 to $2,500 a month, specialist SEO retainers run $2,500 to $7,500, and B2B demand generation runs $2,000 to $15,000, with about $5,000 typical.

Two ranked firms print their prices. EWR Digital says most of its SEO campaigns in 2025 cost $2,500 to $7,500 a month, one-time projects $5,000 to $30,000, and consultants $90 to $175 an hour. Enlimited says most clients invest around $5,000 a month, with a $2,000 minimum and a typical range up to $15,000. CI Web Group's website tiers run from Lean Launch at $2,500 to Multi-Location Franchise at $235,000, with monthly maintenance on top.

Smaller Houston firms publish the low end. CANS Marketing's Small Business SEO plan starts at $299 a month, ASTOUNDZ's SEO tiers run $399 to $2,499 a month, WHO Digital Strategy's local SEO management starts at $400 a month, and Inbound.Inc's local SEO plans cost $500, $1,000 or $1,500 a month by market size. Nimbus Media's website plans start at $2,000 a month, local SEO at $1,500 and full SEO at $2,500. GrowthMaze sells managed websites from $250 a month with $0 down, Marketing Refresh runs a LinkedIn, newsletter and podcast program for $750 a month, and Connective Web Design bills $140 an hour for every team member, with sales decks from $6,000.

Texas has no pay-transparency law, so few Houston postings print a salary. Boral Agency pays a digital marketing strategist $60,000 to $80,000, and a digital marketing manager the same. Baal & Spots pays a social media assistant $40,000 to $48,000, Social Habit Marketing pays a contract account manager $40,000 to $60,000, and in-house, Vego Garden in Tomball pays a senior retention marketing manager $80,000 to $110,000. A $5,000 monthly retainer costs about what one mid-level marketer does, and buys a team.

Look for one of four things: a named tool with a described function, a named workflow, a person with an AI or automation role on the team, or a case study that ties automation to a number. A banner is not evidence. Generic AI output is easy to sell and easy to spot. "Ask it to write a welcome sequence and you get generic, unsourced fluff."

Every AI point on this page links to one of those. Enlimited names the tools behind its AtomBeam outreach. EWR Digital describes each of its four SEO agents.

On four criteria: AI automation out of 20, and specialization, published evidence and a real Houston team, each out of 10, for a total out of 50. Each card links the sources behind its score.
