Marketing is expensive because most agencies still do the mechanical half by hand. The Indianapolis firms worth paying have handed that half to software. They build voice agents that call a client's sleeping CRM leads and book the appointments, AI-driven personalization on a bank's own member data and connections that let a customer's AI agent query a store's live catalog, and they keep people on judgment. Nitrosend publishes this page and is not ranked.
1. StrataBlue
1StrataBlue
Jeremy King, Chief Executive Officer, StrataBlue
- Best for
- Lead-heavy businesses, AI voice agents
- Location
- 238 South Meridian St, Suite 201, Indianapolis, IN
- Platforms
- Zapier, Make.com
- AI stack
- AI voice agent for outbound re-engagement, AI inbound attendance hotline agent, AI SDRs that update the CRM
The downtown agency that builds AI voice agents to work a client's own lead list. For Kayak Pools Midwest, its AI Regen outbound agent reactivated sleeping CRM leads and generated $630K in revenue in 45 days with $0 in advertising spend. Its AI sales page describes 10,000 past call recordings fed to a language model, which was then set loose on a database of old leads, and for Langham Logistics it runs an inbound attendance hotline agent. My view is that a follow-up is worth answering when it responds to what the person actually said, and a voice agent fed real calls is built to do that.
The office is at 238 South Meridian St, Suite 201, with 3 staff in the Indianapolis area, led by CEO Jeremy King.
Take it when you want AI agents working your own lead list.
2. SilverTech
2SilverTech
John Williford, Engineering Team Lead, SilverTech
- Best for
- DXP rebuilds with AI personalization
- Location
- 9101 Wesleyan Road, Suite 400, Indianapolis, IN (headquarters in Bedford, NH)
- Platforms
- Optimizely, Kentico, Sitefinity, Sitecore, HubSpot
- AI stack
- Azure AI Foundry, Microsoft Fabric, Optimizely Opal
The digital-experience agency that layers AI personalization onto a client's platform. For St. Mary's Bank it built AI-powered insights on Azure AI Foundry and Microsoft Fabric, a customer data platform and identity-based personalization, and 77% of the bank's website traffic receives a personalized experience. With Fiserv Raddon and HubSpot it delivered real-time personalization driven by AI-based Key Life Indicators. My view is that most brands fake personalization with a first-name merge tag. A page built from a member's own data is the real thing.
Chief Marketer named it a 2026 Agency of the Year. SilverTech is headquartered in Bedford, New Hampshire, with an Indianapolis office at 9101 Wesleyan Road, Suite 400, and 4 staff in the Indianapolis area, including Engineering Team Lead John Williford.
Take it for a platform rebuild with personalization on top.
3. SteerPoint
3SteerPoint
Joey Slimak, Chief Operating Officer, SteerPoint
- Best for
- Local businesses, PPC and SEO
- Location
- 5719 Lawton Loop East Drive, Suite 201, Indianapolis, IN
- AI stack
- ChatGPT, Gemini, ADcreative AI, AI attribution modeling
The owner-led Indianapolis agency that put AI into a client's attribution. For Material Handling Exchange it ran an AI-driven analysis of PPC campaigns by state, used AI to refine the attribution models and built a dashboard that reports on campaign performance with machine learning. The same program reported a 386% ROAS per campaign and a 228% increase in leads, and took the client from Midwest-only customers to more than 45 states. The case does not split out what AI contributed. My view is that attribution breaks easily, including when tracking pixels go straight onto a site, so ask how any model is fed.
Its SEO team uses ChatGPT and Gemini to analyze competitors' sites, and its paid social designers work with ADcreative AI. The office is at 5719 Lawton Loop East Drive, with 5 staff in the Indianapolis area, including COO Joey Slimak.
Take it for owner-led local search and paid work.
4. Studio Science
4Studio Science
Stephen Pruden, CEO, Studio Science
- Best for
- Agentic commerce on Salesforce
- Location
- 111 Monument Circle, 6th Floor, Indianapolis, IN
- Platforms
- Salesforce Commerce Cloud, Agentforce, Stripe
- AI stack
- Agentforce virtual agents, AI agent access to a live commerce catalog
The Monument Circle consultancy preparing storefronts for AI agents that shop. Its Agentic Commerce service lets a customer ask an AI agent such as Claude to reorder products, find alternatives or change quantities, and the agent queries the brand's Salesforce Commerce Cloud catalog for live product, pricing and inventory data. It is a member of the Agentforce Partner Network and deploys virtual agents across Salesforce, and in June 2026 it announced a strategic partnership with Anthropic. I have had an AI agent build and send an email to my audience, with my only part approving it. An agent that buys is the same idea on the customer's side.
It publishes no AI result tied to a client and a number. The office is at 111 Monument Circle, 6th Floor, with 33 staff in the Indianapolis area, led by CEO Stephen Pruden.
Take it to get a Salesforce storefront ready for AI agents.
5. Found Search Marketing
5Found Search Marketing
Julie Warnecke, Founder and CEO, Found Search Marketing
- Best for
- Large paid-media budgets
- Location
- 8475 Nightfall Lane, Suite 200, Fishers, IN
- AI stack
- Automated bid adjustments triggered by CPC and conversion-rate outliers, Predictive spend forecasting
The Fishers paid-media agency that automates bid control. It uses AI-driven optimization to detect outliers in CPC and conversion rate, which triggers automated bid adjustments before costs spiral, and adds predictive forecasting of spend pacing and ROI. Its data activation work trains the AI systems inside the ad platforms on real customer insights instead of generic lookalike data. I have said our own remarketing ads to pixeled audiences "didn't work at all" and were "a waste of money", so ask any paid team what it switches off, not only what it bids up.
It publishes no client result tied to its automation. The office is at 8475 Nightfall Lane, Suite 200, in Fishers, with 36 staff in the Indianapolis area, led by Founder and CEO Julie Warnecke.
Take it for large paid-media programs.
Also worth knowing
These firms were considered and are not ranked.
Goddard Strategies has real AI work, including AI voice appointment reminders, and one person in the Indianapolis area. Kid2Design lists eight AI workflows and names no clients or people, and its one case study is an unnamed local cafe.
Boldthink, Innova, Willow, Flint Analytics, Nextfly and Kurieta list only a shared or coworking address, with no Indianapolis office of their own. Sixth City, which is headquartered in Ohio, Circle Social, Valve+Meter, EverEffect, Proof Digital, Element Three, Element212, Subverse and Caylor Solutions sell AI search visibility or AI training as a service, with no automation in how they deliver client work.

Firms whose sites did not load or published too little to assess are not ranked.
Software, IT, consulting, staffing and other firms that surface in Indianapolis marketing searches are not marketing agencies and are not assessed here.
How to choose between them
If you want AI agents that work your own lead list, start with StrataBlue. Mid-size and enterprise brands rebuilding a website on Optimizely, Sitefinity, Kentico or Sitecore fit SilverTech. Local businesses, schools and nonprofits that want PPC, SEO and web from one owner-led team fit SteerPoint. Brands on Salesforce Commerce Cloud that want to sell through AI agents fit Studio Science, and large paid-media budgets fit Found Search Marketing. My view is that small brands win on personality, so pick the firm whose own work has some.
My view is that you need a filter for advice, because only some of it comes from experience that matches yours. Apply the same filter to an agency pitch, and ask for the case that looks most like your business.
How this list is ranked
How this list is ranked
I score every marketing agency here on four criteria, for a total out of 50: AI automation out of 20, and specialization, published evidence and a real Indianapolis team, each out of 10. Each card links the sources behind its score.
Nitrosend, which I co-founded, publishes this page. It is an email platform for agencies, not a marketing agency, and is not ranked.
FAQ
StrataBlue, if you are picking one name with no other constraint, because it builds AI agents that work a client's own leads and publishes the result with the client named. SilverTech is the pick for a website and data platform rebuild with personalization on top. From there the shortlist splits by need: SteerPoint for owner-led local work, Studio Science for agentic commerce on Salesforce, and Found Search Marketing for large paid-media programs.
The difference shows in what each one publishes. StrataBlue's AI Regen case names the client, the channel and the revenue. SilverTech's St. Mary's Bank case names the AI stack and the share of traffic it personalizes. SteerPoint's Material Handling Exchange case shows AI attribution next to the campaign results. Read those three pages and you will know which of them describes your problem.
Between $299 and $6,500 a month before ad spend. Single-channel SEO starts at $299 a month, full retainers run $2,500 to $6,500 a month, and projects start at $7,500. The range comes from Indianapolis firms that publish their prices.
I&J Agency publishes ongoing SEO from $299 a month and a website foundation from $495 one-time. Boldthink's pricing FAQ puts projects from $7,500 and retainers at $2,500 to $6,500 a month plus ad spend. AI work is priced on its own: Nahl Technologies charges from $2,500 a month for AI search visibility, and its AI automation builds start at $7,500 fixed, typically run $10,000 to $18,000, and cost from $1,800 a month to run and maintain.
The number to check a quote against is the in-house cost. BDA's Indianapolis postings pay a Client Service Coordinator $50,000 to $52,000 and a National Account Director $110,000 to $130,000. Those salaries are before benefits, tools and management time.
The ad spend, and often the software. A retainer buys people and their hours, and the media budget sits on top: Boldthink quotes its retainers plus ad spend. AI work adds its own lines, because a custom agent or an automation is a build plus a monthly fee, as Nahl Technologies' fixed build price and separate run-and-maintain fee show, and model usage is billed to someone.
Ask who owns the accounts. The ad accounts, the analytics property, the CRM and the email platform should be in your name, so the history stays with you if the agency changes.
Look for one of four things: a named tool with a described function, a named workflow, a person with an AI or automation role on the team, or a case study that ties automation to a number. A banner is not evidence.
Every AI point on this page links to one of those. StrataBlue ties its outbound voice agent to a named client and a revenue figure. SilverTech names Azure AI Foundry and Microsoft Fabric on a named bank's case. Found Search Marketing describes the trigger behind its automated bid changes.
On four criteria: AI automation out of 20, and specialization, published evidence and a real Indianapolis-area team, each out of 10, for a total out of 50. The Indianapolis area includes Carmel, Fishers, Noblesville, Westfield, Zionsville and Greenwood. Each card links the sources behind its score.
