All four are built around a store sign. Every hero is a bright photo inside a big beauty store with a magenta panel across it carrying a short headline, like the signs above the aisles, and the body is warm white with blush panels, a magenta pill button and a points chip. An AI agent wrote, designed and built every one of them in Nitrosend.1
Welcome email

Welcome
You’re in. Your points start now.
"You're in. Your points start now." The hero puts the reader just inside the front doors under a sign that says "Come on in."
The welcome sells the program in one line of the preheader, around 600 brands, a salon chair in the back and points on every dollar, then walks through what membership means. Ulta Beauty Rewards is the program's name since January 2024, and the email uses only the current name.
Abandoned cart email

Abandoned cart
You left your bag, Maya
Sent an hour after the bag is left, with the reader's name in the subject: "You left your bag, Maya". The sign over the checkout counter says the same thing.
It calls it a bag, not a cart, the word a beauty shopper uses, and it removes pressure instead of adding it: no rush, and the points apply as always. Reminding a rewards member that the purchase still earns points is a better nudge than a discount the brand did not plan.
Black Friday email

Black Friday
It’s on. Black Friday at Ulta Beauty.
The biggest sign of the four, "It's on.", over a busy store on its busiest morning of the year. The subject is just as short: "It's on. Black Friday at Ulta Beauty."
The preheader gives the two facts a shopper needs, the sale is live online and in more than 1,500 stores, and their points work the way they always do. It names no percentages it cannot stand behind, so the email stays true whatever the deals turn out to be.
Christmas email

Christmas
Gifts happen here
"Gifts happen here", over a holiday gift wall. The preheader sorts the list by person: the one with every shade, the one with the routine, and the one you forgot.
That last one is the hook. The email ends with an eGift card that lands within the hour, so the shopper who left someone off the list has an answer on Christmas Eve. Sorting gifts by the person makes a huge store feel easy to shop.
What makes these emails work
- Layout. Every email has the same frame: a store photo with a magenta sign panel carrying the headline, a short lead, one pill button, blush panels for points and tiles, and a blush footer slab.
- Color. Warm white canvas, blush panels, warm near black type and one strong magenta for the sign, the button and the links.
- Type. A bold sans serif on the sign, sized to fill it, and a plain sans serif body at a size you can read on a phone.
- Button. One magenta pill per email with a plain instruction.
- Copy. Short, warm and specific to a rewards member: points on every dollar, points still apply, an eGift card for the last-minute gift. The store count and the program name come from Ulta Beauty's own releases.
- Motion. All four heroes are animated: the store moves slowly behind a sign that stays still.

FAQ
Which email types are on this page?
Four: a welcome to the rewards program, an abandoned cart email, a Black Friday email and a Christmas gift guide.
Why is there no discount in the abandoned cart email?
Because the shopper is a rewards member, and the purchase still earns points. Reminding them of that keeps the margin and still gives a reason to come back.
Can I make these emails for my own brand?
Yes. Copy the prompt above into an AI assistant connected to Nitrosend and give it your website. It writes, designs and builds each email in your brand in Nitrosend, then sends you a test.
Where does the name in the subject line come from?
It is a merge field. Nitrosend fills it from the contact's first name when the email sends.
Which AI made these emails?
Claude, connected to Nitrosend over MCP. It set the brand kit, wrote the copy, placed the images and built each email as a draft flow in Nitrosend.
