Marketing is expensive because most agencies still do the mechanical half by hand, and a retainer bills for those hours. My view is that every campaign a team has dragged and dropped together could have been a single sentence to an AI: the design, the logic, the personalization and the send. That is what I rank for below. Dallas also leans toward generative creative: three of the seven use AI to make the work rather than to run it, and each card says which.
1. Groove Jones
1Groove Jones
Dan Ferguson, Co-Founder, Groove Jones
- Best for
- Generative AI personalization and experiential activations
- Location
- 22 staff located in the Dallas-Fort Worth metro on LinkedIn
- AI stack
- AI Personalization Engine, Directed AI
A Dallas studio for experiential, AR, VR and generative AI work. For Keebler it built a custom machine learning model of Ernie the Elf that generates sELFie images of each customer, and its Directed AI framework sets out a repeatable production pipeline for generative creative. At Adobe Summit its Mantra Machine turned attendee photos into personalized AI video. My view is that the future looks like this: set a goal, and the agent builds the campaign and creates and sends one-to-one content for each contact. Groove Jones already does the one-to-one part at events.
That is creative production, and none of its AI cases publishes a business result. The firm says it won Best AI Workflow for Production at the 2026 AARON Awards for a DICK'S Sporting Goods campaign. It has 22 metro staff on LinkedIn, including co-founder Dan Ferguson.
The pick for a brand that wants generative AI built into a campaign activation, from a studio that trains its own models.
2. PMG
2PMG
Vlad (Volodymyr) Pavlov, Senior Director, AI & Software Engineering, PMG
- Best for
- Global media on a proprietary AI operating system
- Location
- 2601 Olive Street, Floor 19, its headquarters, with 500+ staff located in the Dallas-Fort Worth metro on LinkedIn
- AI stack
- Alli, Ask Alli Agent
A Dallas-headquartered independent that runs global media, commerce and creative. It says Alli, its own marketing operating system, powers every client and team, and its Ask Alli Agent turns data analysis into a conversation. "One trend in AI is being completely agent-first in your work and connecting everything else to it." Alli runs Nike's Global Media Data Foundation, taking in daily data from nearly 200 countries, 200 platforms and more than 1,000 accounts.
Its published results are measurement, not automation savings: for Peloton's Cross Training Series launch, Alli was the measurement layer, and branded search rose 21% during the F1 Las Vegas Grand Prix. It announced dozens of new AI roles for 2026. Its headquarters is 2601 Olive Street, Floor 19, with 500+ metro staff on LinkedIn, including Senior Director of AI & Software Engineering Vlad Pavlov.
The pick for a large consumer brand that wants its media run on an in-house AI operating system with the biggest Dallas team on this list.
3. Spire Agency
3Spire Agency
Steve Gray, Co-Owner, Spire Agency
- Best for
- B2B-only brand and content with generative AI creative
- Location
- 17304 Preston Rd, Suite 480, with 9 staff located in the Dallas-Fort Worth metro on LinkedIn
- AI stack
- Generative AI video and imagery, AI asset versioning and reporting
A Dallas agency that works only with B2B companies. Its AI page says it uses AI to automate asset versioning, reporting and data analysis, and to generate imagery and design variations. For Mouser Electronics it runs Empowering Innovation Together, a program of videos, podcasts and articles for engineers, and the firm says One Partner, a generative AI video for Mouser, was among nine 2026 Telly Awards honors.
No automation case with a number is published. The office is 17304 Preston Rd, Suite 480, and 9 metro staff are on LinkedIn, including co-owner Steve Gray and owner and partner Kimberly Tyner. It fits a B2B company that wants an agency that does nothing else.
The pick for a B2B company that wants a B2B-only agency using generative AI in campaign production.
4. Imaginuity
Imaginuity
Taylor Calise, CEO, Imaginuity
- Best for
- Multi-location and franchise performance marketing with AI-scored mail
- Location
- 68 staff located in the Dallas-Fort Worth metro on LinkedIn; its site lists 1201 Main St, Suite 1800
- AI stack
- Ai Mail, AdScience
A Dallas performance agency that positions itself for multi-location and franchise brands. Ai Mail, on its AdScience platform, ranks households by how likely they are to convert and feeds each campaign's results back into the model. The same page claims "as much as" a 30% lift in lead volume and "up to" 36% higher response, with no client named.
A 55% cost-per-booking cut that a gym-marketing post on its blog credits to an Orangetheory Fitness franchise program is not presented as Imaginuity's own client result. Its site lists 1201 Main St, Suite 1800, and 68 metro staff are on LinkedIn, including CEO Taylor Calise.
The pick for a multi-location or franchise brand that wants direct mail targeted by a model that learns from each campaign.
5. Nativz
5Nativz
Jake Pak, Chief Content Officer, Nativz
- Best for
- Short-form social video planned by an AI trend engine
- Location
- Headquartered in Dallas, with 3 staff located in the Dallas-Fort Worth metro on LinkedIn
- AI stack
- Cortex
A Dallas social media agency that runs organic and paid short-form video. Cortex, its own short-form video intelligence engine, monitors 600K+ videos a week and turns what it finds into a filming plan, and access to it comes with every Nativz engagement. For JAMNOLA it cut ten Cortex-built edits from footage the client already had, and the winner, 'Hot in New Orleans', returned 9.4x ROAS over 14 days. For Museum of Illusions in Toronto and Montreal it made ad creative from Cortex research and existing footage alone, without a shoot.
The product screens on its Cortex page are an illustrative demo, not client data. Outside AI, its paid social for Wingstop across 1,400+ locations drove 120K+ orders and $2.83M+ in reported revenue. It is headquartered in Dallas, with 3 metro staff on LinkedIn, including Chief Content Officer Jake Pak and strategist Jaime Maldonado. It fits a consumer brand that wants its social video planned from data rather than guesswork.
The pick for a consumer brand that wants its social video planned by an AI trend engine, with a paid-creative result to show for it.
6. Schaefer Advertising
6Schaefer Advertising
Ken Schaefer, President and CEO, Schaefer Advertising
- Best for
- Full-service Fort Worth advertising with AI in video production
- Location
- 207 E Broadway Ave, Fort Worth, with 33 staff located in the Dallas-Fort Worth metro on LinkedIn
- AI stack
- AI environment rendering, AI voice generation, AI storyboarding
An independent advertising agency based in Fort Worth. For a global eye care leader's mainstage video it used AI to design and render the set, generate a cityscape, produce the voice and build photorealistic storyboards. That is production craft on a real budget, with no business number attached and the client unnamed.
The firm says it won Gold ADDYs in 2025 for Fort Worth Zoo and American Warriors Association invitations, and Silver for a Mainstay Farm campaign. Its office is 207 E Broadway Ave in Fort Worth, with 33 metro staff on LinkedIn, including President and CEO Ken Schaefer and Executive Vice President Sara Hull. It fits a Fort Worth brand that wants one full-service agency.
The pick for a Fort Worth brand that wants a full-service independent agency already using AI to stretch a production budget.
7. Aletheia Marketing & Media
7Aletheia Marketing & Media
Clayton Kjos, Chief Technology Officer & Chief Operating Officer, Aletheia Marketing & Media
- Best for
- Values-based messaging scored by a machine-learning tool
- Location
- 17 staff located in the Dallas-Fort Worth metro on LinkedIn
- AI stack
- Pluralytics ValuesFinder
A Dallas firm built on values-based marketing for health, education and entertainment brands. It scores messaging with Pluralytics ValuesFinder, a behavioral-science and machine-learning tool from its sister company, against five values profiles. The same post reports that consumers chose that language 33% more often, but that was a virtual-panel test of the tool, not a client result.
Its case list headlines Six Flags season pass sales up 43% and 84% more new donors for a national plasma donation center, neither tied to AI. It has 17 metro staff on LinkedIn, including CTO and COO Clayton Kjos and founder and CEO Chris Schembri. It fits a health, education or entertainment brand that wants its message tested before the media runs.
The pick for a brand that wants its messaging tested against values profiles by a machine-learning tool before media runs.
Also worth knowing
These Dallas-Fort Worth firms were considered and are not ranked.
Several have real AI and no Dallas-Fort Worth team. TripleDart runs a real agent stack, with a Slack-native ops agent and SEO and content agents, with 1 metro staff member on LinkedIn and its team in Bangalore. 2POINT is a San Diego firm with 1 metro member. Habanero Studios describes AI workflows on every service page, and every case is an unnamed company. Vareweb runs GoHighLevel automation and AI voice agents with no metro staff. Digital Ingenuity sells an AI receptionist with no metro staff, and prints Common Desk's Granite Park coworking site. Three Ventures is an AI consultancy for manufacturers in Roseville, California, not a marketing agency.
Several have real Dallas-Fort Worth teams and no AI in delivery. Point, with 39 metro staff, lists AI-powered creative optimization as a bullet, and its AI tools appear only in job postings. AvreaFoster, with 17, writes about AI search and built a site for an AI client. Thrive, with 18, sells AI Overview and ChatGPT visibility, and its 2626 Cole Ave address is an Alliance Virtual Offices site. Youtech, of Lisle, Illinois, sells GEO only. Razor Rank reports AI Overview citations, and Idea Grove sells AI visibility through PR. InboxArmy runs rule-based email automation, not AI. MarketCrest, ioVista, Rise Local, SPCTEK, Enilon, m3, Everyday Media, Seota, Fast Hippo and StubGroup list AI search, AI service lines or non-AI automation, without a described AI workflow. Agency Partner prints the same Common Desk coworking site, and its "60% faster document processing" and "92% accuracy" are service-page promises with no client.
Eyeful, 12AM, 8gnc, Online Marketing Gurus, TrizCom PR, Tebeau Group, TMN, Vizion, Sofia, LocalMighty and Digital Osmos mostly sell GEO, which is search visibility, not automation, and have few metro staff. LocalMighty prints 325 N St Paul St, Suite 3100, a Regus serviced-office center. Skid is a Santiago, Chile firm, and Adapts Media is based in Dubai.
Global Ranking Solution names no clients or case studies, its delivery office is in Noida, and its Dallas address, 539 W Commerce St #3454, is a PhysicalAddress.com virtual mailbox.
Software, IT, consulting, staffing and other firms that surface in Dallas marketing searches are not marketing agencies and are not assessed here.
How to choose between them
A consumer brand that wants generative AI built into an activation, with a custom model trained on its own character or product, should start with Groove Jones. A large consumer brand buying global media on an in-house AI operating system, from the biggest team in town, has PMG. A B2B company that wants an agency that works on nothing else has Spire Agency.
A franchise or multi-location brand that still spends on direct mail has Imaginuity, whose model scores households before each drop. A consumer brand that wants short-form social video planned by an AI trend engine has Nativz. A Fort Worth brand that wants a full-service independent with AI in its video production has Schaefer Advertising, and a health, education or entertainment brand that wants its message tested against values profiles has Aletheia.
How this list is ranked
How this list is ranked
I score every marketing agency here on four criteria, for a total out of 50: AI automation out of 20, and specialization, published evidence and a real Dallas team, each out of 10. Each card links the sources behind its score.
Nitrosend, which I co-founded, publishes this page. It is an email platform for agencies, not a marketing agency, and is not ranked.
FAQ
Groove Jones, for a brand that wants generative AI inside a campaign, because it trains custom models for clients and publishes how it produces them. PMG is second and serves a wider market: global media run on Alli, its own AI operating system, with 500+ staff in the metro. After that the list splits by need, with Spire Agency for B2B, Imaginuity for franchise and multi-location brands, Nativz for short-form social video, Schaefer Advertising for full service from Fort Worth and Aletheia for values-based messaging.
The difference shows in what each one publishes. Groove Jones shows the custom model behind its Keebler sELFie Studio. PMG describes Alli and the Ask Alli Agent. Imaginuity walks through how Ai Mail retrains on each campaign. Read those three pages and you will know which one describes your problem.
Between $250 and $17,999 a month on retainer, before ad spend. Small-business SEO runs $250 to $5,000 a month, paid media management $699 to $2,199, social content and brand retainers $1,500 to $7,500, and managed bundles $2,850 to $10,000. None of the seven ranked firms prints a price, so these come from Dallas-Fort Worth firms that do.
Make Waves Media's full-service SEO campaigns start at $1,200 a month, with lighter plans from $250. Razor Rank quotes about $2,000 to $5,000 a month for local and small-business programs and $5,000 to $15,000 for mid-market, and Raul Jaquez puts on-page SEO at $1,500 to $5,000 a month, with consultants at $100 to $300 an hour. Digital Ingenuity in Plano charges $699, $1,299 and $2,199 a month to manage ad spend up to $5,000, $15,000 and $40,000, and its full-service Marketing OS starts at $17,999 a month, against its own estimate of $42,000 to $58,000 for the same stack in-house. 8gnc in Richardson sells social content at $1,500, $2,750 and $4,500 a month and brand operations retainers at $3,500, $5,500 and $7,500. Blue Glass Insights' managed bundles run from $2,850 to $10,000 a month, and Icepick in Fort Worth sells a website plus CRM for home-service businesses at $499 a month on a 12-month term.
Few Dallas postings print a salary. January Digital's Dallas paid media ladder runs from $53,000 to $63,000 for a senior coordinator, $60,000 to $80,000 for a manager and $80,500 to $100,000 for a senior manager, to $100,500 to $125,000 for an associate director and $125,500 to $155,000 for a director. CourtAvenue pays a senior UI designer in Dallas $80,000 to $100,000. A $7,500 monthly retainer costs about what one senior paid media manager earns, and buys a team.
Look for one of four things: a named tool with a described function, a named workflow, a person with an AI or automation role on the team, or a case study that ties automation to a number. A banner is not evidence. "I've seen about 100 of these AI CMO platforms." Most of what gets sold as AI marketing is a label on the same hours.
Every AI point on this page links to one of those. Imaginuity describes how Ai Mail retrains on each campaign. Aletheia's 33% figure is a panel test of its sister company's tool, not a client result. Award wins on this page are the firms' own announcements.
On four criteria: AI automation out of 20, and specialization, published evidence and a real Dallas-Fort Worth team, each out of 10, for a total out of 50. Each card links the sources behind its score.
