Marketing is expensive because most agencies still do the mechanical half by hand, and a retainer bills for those hours. My view is that the marketer's job has moved from operator to director: the marketer now governs the send rather than clicking the campaign together. Tampa has plenty of firms selling AI visibility and few using AI to deliver the work, and the three below are the ones that do it with a real team here.
The metro counts, so St. Petersburg, Clearwater and Brandon firms are ranked on the same terms as Tampa ones. If you are also weighing Florida's other big market, see the best marketing agencies in Miami.
1. Mediagistic
1Mediagistic
Justin Littlejohn, Vice President of Digital Marketing and Channel Strategy, Mediagistic
- Best for
- Home-services contractors that want calls and leads answered by AI
- Location
- Headquarters at 8675 Hidden River Pkwy, Tampa, with 93 staff located in Greater Tampa Bay on LinkedIn
- Platforms
- Google Premier Partner, Yelp Partner, Meta Preferred Partner
- AI stack
- Mediagistic AI CSR
A home-services specialist that sells its own AI. Its AI CSR product answers calls and runs chat for contractors, and plugs into ServiceTitan, Housecall Pro, FieldEdge and Service Fusion. For Air Solutions Heating & Cooling it put that AI on 24/7 call handling, alongside marketing automation and field-service workflow changes. The six-month results on that page, including 37% more closed sales, belong to the whole program, not to the AI alone. An AI autoresponder on Yelp helped Done Rite Services in Tucson bring cost per lead 43% under its market average within a year.
My view is that AI agents are already better at email than people, because they read everything and never miss a follow-up, and a missed call is the same failure. The headquarters is at 8675 Hidden River Pkwy, with 93 staff located in Greater Tampa Bay on LinkedIn.
The pick for a home-services contractor that wants AI answering its calls and chats, from the largest Tampa team on this list.
2. Bluleadz
2Bluleadz
Eric Baum, CEO, Bluleadz
- Best for
- B2B companies on HubSpot that want AI agents in the CRM
- Location
- No office address credited: the printed Suite 154 at 503 E Jackson St is a private mailbox. 14 staff located in Greater Tampa Bay on LinkedIn, including the CEO and COO
- Platforms
- HubSpot Elite Solutions Partner
- AI stack
- HubSpot Data Agent, HubSpot prospecting and customer agents
HubSpot only, with the most detailed AI build here. Its agents repair, classify and enrich CRM records, draft outbound sequences for stalled deals and resolve routine support tickets, each launched in review-before-send mode with a rep approving every draft. It reports lifting a support agent's resolution rate from 14% to 39% in two weeks but names no client. The team page lists an AI Specialist, and managed services start at $600 a month.
My view, and the way Nitrosend is built, is full-stack automation inside the agent with human approval gates, not a tool with AI added. The printed Suite 154 at 503 E Jackson St is a private mailbox, the same suite another business lists as PMB 154. It has 14 staff located in Greater Tampa Bay on LinkedIn, CEO Eric Baum among them.
The pick for a B2B company on HubSpot that wants AI agents in its CRM with a person approving every change.
3. WolfPack Advising
3WolfPack Advising
Aaron Shishilla, Chief Executive Officer, WolfPack Advising
- Best for
- Local service businesses on Google Local Services Ads
- Founded
- 2019
- Location
- Prints a WeWork floor at 501 E Kennedy Blvd, Suite 1400, shared with two other firms; 16 staff located in Greater Tampa Bay on LinkedIn
- AI stack
- WolfPack Lead Center
A local-services shop that feeds its call data back into the ads. WolfPack uses AI to transcribe calls and leads, analyze the outcomes and send lead-quality data back to the ad platforms, with a person still overseeing bids. Its AI-driven Lead Center connects to a client's Google Local Services Ads account and analyzes every lead, call and conversation. No published number isolates that AI. For About Your Property Inspection, an automated sequence for inactive agents recovered $4,062 across 6 closed deals.
My view is that smaller stores struggle with email marketing for lack of time and resources, and WolfPack's packages mostly start around $389 a month. Its printed 501 E Kennedy Blvd, Suite 1400 is a WeWork floor also printed by Slaterock Automation and Synergy Labs, and it has 16 staff located in Greater Tampa Bay on LinkedIn.
The pick for a local service business on Google Local Services Ads, at the lowest published entry price on this list.
Also worth knowing
These Tampa firms were considered and are not ranked.
Several have real AI and no Tampa team. Custom Legal Marketing is based in San Francisco, and its Tampa address is Hyde House, a coworking studio. Swarm builds RAG chatbots and LLM routing, with 2 co-founders here of a stated 16-person team. Marketing Link runs an ads-automation product, Yakiv Ads, with 2 founders here and its team in Kyiv. Agency Eleven has 2 staff here and a shared workspace floor. Slaterock has its founder here, at the same WeWork as WolfPack. Romeo Golf and Connor Cedro are one-person consultancies, and Tabitha Naylor names one person and a distributed team. Get The Clicks is based in Orlando and prints a mailbox number at a CoCreativ executive suite. Kraus is based in Morristown, New Jersey, and prints Hyde House in Tampa.
Nine firms presenting as St. Petersburg agencies print 7901 4th St N, the published address of Florida Registered Agent LLC, a company that receives legal mail for other businesses: Growth IQ, Stimulate, Roofing ROI, Campaigncy, OzoPro, AdBoex, Ataraxia, Blue Bee Web and Upscale Valley. Image Building Media and CICOR print a Davinci virtual address, and BoardroomPR, a PR firm with an AEO launch, prints a CoCreativ virtual mailbox sold through iPostal1.
Several sell AI visibility, which is not AI in delivery. MileMark and Digital Neighbor monitor prompts and AI citations. Spinutech has 22 staff here from the Bayshore Solutions team it acquired, and its AI page is GEO audits and reporting. Ventura, Brain Buzz, Renaissance, Modiphy and Actuate Media, based in Seattle, sell AI search visibility, and Keever SEO does the same from shared executive offices. Big Sea takes its AI tool list from a blog article.
Others describe AI in one line, or automation that is not AI. ChappellRoberts has a strong Tampa team and lists AI-powered consumer intelligence as one line in a research menu. Schifino Lee describes AI in its process with no named tool or case. Chatter Buzz's proprietary AI, trained on 13 years of campaign data, is one sentence, from an Orlando headquarters and an Industrious coworking floor. DirectiveGroup's SaaS marketing AI platform names no tool, client or number. ADAG runs lead follow-up software for auto shops, Inflow relies on platform smart bidding and Klaviyo, and McKay and Incline run automated email flows.
99 AI Digital, SEO Agency USA, Starr Enterprises, Leads Genie and AI Marketing Team have no named clients or case studies.
Software, IT, consulting, staffing and other firms that surface in Tampa marketing searches are not marketing agencies and are not assessed here.
How to choose between them
A contractor in HVAC, plumbing or another home service who loses calls after hours should start with Mediagistic, the largest Tampa team here and the only one that sells its own answering AI. A B2B company already on HubSpot that wants agents cleaning its CRM and chasing stalled deals has Bluleadz, provided a person approving every send suits you. A home inspector, pest control firm or other local trade running Google Local Services Ads has WolfPack Advising, at the lowest entry price of the three.
How this list is ranked
How this list is ranked
I score every marketing agency here on four criteria, for a total out of 50: AI automation out of 20, and specialization, published evidence and a real Tampa team, each out of 10. Each card links the sources behind its score.
Nitrosend, which I co-founded, publishes this page. It is an email platform for agencies, not a marketing agency, and is not ranked.
FAQ
Mediagistic, for home-services contractors, because it sells its own AI answering and chat product and has 93 staff located in Greater Tampa Bay. Bluleadz is second and does a different job: AI agents inside HubSpot for B2B companies. WolfPack Advising is third, for local service businesses on Google Local Services Ads.
The difference shows in what each one publishes. Mediagistic shows the contractor software its AI plugs into. Bluleadz shows how its agents launch with a person approving every draft. WolfPack shows how its Lead Center analyzes every Local Services Ads call. Read those three pages and you will know which one describes your problem.
Between $389 and $10,000 a month on retainer, before ad spend. Small local packages start under $400, SEO retainers run $1,299 to $3,500, full PR retainers reach $7,500 to $10,000, and one-off projects run $5,000 to $100,000 or more.
At the low end, WolfPack Advising's packages mostly start around $389 a month, with hourly work from $150, and Bluleadz's managed services start at $600 a month, its GTM subscription at $2,500 a month, and implementation at $5,000. For search, Actuate Media charges a flat $1,299 a month for SEO, GEO and AIO, and 20% of spend for ad management, Keever SEO's local SEO tiers are $1,500, $2,500 and $3,500 a month, and Digital Neighbor's SEO starts at $3,000 a month. For PR, BoardroomPR's minimum retainer is $3,500 a month, and The BC PR Group publishes tiers around $3,500, $5,000 and $7,500 to $10,000 a month. Company Man Studios' projects range from $10,000 to $100,000+.
Ad spend sits on top. Inflow says most businesses spend at least $5,000 a month on PPC ads to get results, and DirectiveGroup requires $10,000 a month in paid advertising for its pay-for-performance model. Tampa job postings price the people doing the work: Dunn&Co. pays a digital project coordinator $42,000 to $52,000, Acceleration Partners targets $55,000 to $60,000 for an affiliate account specialist, and Inflow pays an account manager $65,000 to $80,000. A $3,500 retainer costs about what one coordinator does at the bottom of that range, and buys a team.
Look for one of four things: a named tool with a described function, a named workflow, a person with an AI or automation role on the team, or a case study that ties automation to a number. A banner is not evidence.
Every AI point on this page links to one of those. Mediagistic names the tool and the client for Done Rite Services' Yelp autoresponder. Bluleadz describes how its agents launch in review-before-send mode.
On four criteria: AI automation out of 20, and specialization, published evidence and a real Tampa Bay team, each out of 10, for a total out of 50. Each card links the sources behind its score.
