REI Co-op Membership
Subject line
Welcome to REI Co-op Membership!
What it is doing
This welcome email uses a clean, modular layout with a strong brand identity. It effectively combines informational content about membership benefits with clear calls to action for account setup and exploration. The use of a two-column footer for legal text and contact information is a good way to keep the main body uncluttered.
Worth stealing
The email highlights a $5 donation to a Cooperative Action Fund upon new membership, framing it as a benefit of joining.
